Πριν την ληξη των εργασιών της Διακοινοβουλευτικής Συνέλευσης Ορθοδοξίας (ΔΣΟ) στη Ρωσική Δούμα τιμητική διάκριση απενεμήθη Τιμητική διάκριση στον ο Σεβασμιώτατο Μητροπολίτη Ζάμπιας και Μαλάουι κ.Ιωάννη απο τον Πρόεδρο της Γενικής Συνέλευσης κ.Sergei Popov (Ρωσία) εκ μέρους του Πρόεδρου της Κρατικής Δούμας της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας, κ. Sergey Naryshkin για την πολλαπλή προσφορα του στην Ρωσικη παροικια στην Αφρικη και στην ΔΣΟ με την ι...διότητά του ως σύνδεσμος - liaison-.

At the last convocation of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (DSO) in the Russian Duma honors awarded Honorary Distinction to the Metropolitan of Zambia and Malawi Mr. Ioannis Awarded Honorary Distinction by the President of the General Assembly Mr,Sergei Popov (Russia) on behalf the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergey Naryshkin for his multiple tender to the Russian community in Africa and to DSO in his capacity as a link - liaison-.
