Yesterday, the 15th November 2015; His Eminence Makarios of Kenya visited St. John Parish one of smallest parish around Nairobi and he celebrated the Divine Liturgy there. It was also an opportunity to begin with them the small period of fasting (Advent). His Eminence reminded the the congregation that fasting is not only for food and drinks, but rather for spiritual life both in thought and deeds.
