Memorial Service held for the late Archimandrite Porfyrios Marinakis – Church of the Dormition of The Mother of God, Port Elizabeth

On Sunday 13 July a memorial service was held for the late Archimandrite Porfyrios Marinakis, twenty years after his death. Fr. Porfyrios arrived in Port Elizabeth in the late 1950′s from Madagascar to take up his post as the first Parish Priest at the Church of the Dormition of The Mother of God. May his memory be eternal.
