A new container shipment of food and other supplies arrived in Sierra Leone from Greece. Thanks to the Orthodox Fraternity of External Mission of Thessalonica. Thanks also to Fr. L’ÉQUIPE DE FOOTBALL "JEUNESSE ORTHODOXE" AUX MATCHS DE LA PREMIÈRE DIVISION
Dimanche le 22 Mai 2016, dans l’après-midi, Sa Grâce l’Évêque du Congo-Brazzaville, Mgr. Panteleimon, accompagné par le père Paul Diafouka, Curé de la Paroisse "Sainte Irène" de Dolisie et Directeur de l'Orphelinat Orthodoxe "Saint Eustache", a assisté au stade central de Pointe-Noire le match de football qui opposait l’«Association Sportive Jeunesse Orthodoxe» et le «Football Club Pèlerins» comptant pour la qualification dans la première division nationale, en ligue I
L'équipe de football orthodoxe est reconstituée en 2014 dans la ville de Dolisie et elle est déjà dans la première division nationale, en ligue II. A cette époque elle était proclamée champion du département du Niari, alors qu’en 2015 elle a obtenu la 4e place au niveau national (ligue II). Cette année, elle lutte fortement pour remporter la Coupe de la première division Nationale, ligue I.

ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ
Η Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Μητρόπολη Ζάμπιας και Μαλάουι, με τις ευχές και τις ευλογίες της Αυτού Μακαριότητας του Πάπα και Πατριάρχη Αλεξανδρείας και Πάσης Αφρικής κ.κ. Θεοδώρου του Β, αποφάσισε την καταγραφή, καταχώρηση και δημοσίευση του ιστορικής σπουδαιότητας αρχειακού υλικού-λευκώματος της Ιεράς Μητροπόλεως, το οποίο και θα παρουσιαστεί κατά την διάρκεια προγραμματιζόμενου κατά τις αρχές του επόμενου έτους (2017) Συνεδρίου με θεμα: "Ελληνες Πρωτοπόροι στην διασπορά της Ζάμπιας και του Μαλάουι και η προσφορά τους στις χώρες υποδοχής".
ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ
Η Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Μητρόπολη Ζάμπιας και Μαλάουι, με τις ευχές και τις ευλογίες της Αυτού Μακαριότητας του Πάπα και Πατριάρχη Αλεξανδρείας και Πάσης Αφρικής κ.κ. Η εν λόγω πρωτοβουλία θα πραγματοποιηθεί με την συνεργασία του Ελληνικού Υπουργείου των Εξωτερικών, των Ελληνικών Κοινοτήτων και των Γενικών Προξενείων της Ελλάδας και της Κύπρου στη Ζάμπια και το Μαλάουι και άλλων συλλόγων, φορέων και συνεργατών.
Όλα τα αρχεία και τα δημόσια έγγραφα μαρτυρούν το αναμφισβήτητο ιστορικό γεγονός ότι οι πρωτοπόροι Έλληνες επηρέασαν συνεχίζουν να επηρεάζουν έντονα τον κόσμο της Αφρικής και την ιστορία της. Ανθρώπων "που ποτέ δεν έπαψαν να είναι Έλληνες και η Ελλάδα να είναι στο σπίτι τους!".
Η παρουσίαση του λευκώματος θα γίνει κατά τη διάρκεια της επίσκεψης της Αυτού Μακαριότητας του Πάπα και Πατριάρχη Αλεξανδρείας και Πάσης Αφρικής Θεόδωρου Β 'σε αυτές τις χώρες.

“SUNDAY OF THE PARALYTIC” IN POINTE-NOIRE
On Sunday, 22nd May 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, conducted the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Cathedral of St Dimitrios in Pointe-Noire, together with the Parish Priest, Father Maximos Oumba, Vicar General of the Holy Diocese, and Fr. Paul Diafouka Parish Priest of the Holy Church of St Irene in Dolisie, Director of the Orthodox Orphanage. He also preached the homily, speaking of the paralytic who was left alone, in today’s Gospel.
Before the end of the Eucharistic Synaxis, he presented the new Church Council of the Cathedral for the years 2016-2018, to whom he gave pectoral crosses.
He also praised the participation in the Divine Liturgy of the football players of the “Orthodox Youth” football team re-established in 2014, (Association Sportive Jeunesse Orthodoxe), which arrived in Pointe-Noire from Dolisie, to participate in the games of the 1st National League. Addressing the young football players, His Grace spoke of the athletic ideal, as it became modified in ancient Greece and the Olympics, as well as the Christian virtues of competing, of honour and respect, and congratulated Fr Paul Diafouka who is accompanying them for his tireless concern regarding the spiritual progress of the athletes. He gave all of them a copy of the New Testament and pectoral crosses.
